You will be supporting a combined effort to manifest social change through education of the historical and ongoing struggle for human rights and the impact of social and cultural change. Take2 America Foundation, Inc. (T2AF) looks to bring a “call-to-action” for compassion and civility.

Crime runs rampant in many of our nation’s cities destroying the social fabric usually built over time by active, engaged citizens who have taken pride in their communities. T2AF seeks to establish relationships across the nation to discuss the importance of nonviolence; together identifying ways and means to end that which we see daily.

President Lyndon B. Johnson signed into law the Civil Rights Act on July 2nd of 1964. This act was hailed by many as the most sweeping civil rights legislation since the Reconstruction Era. It heralded what many hoped would, finally, begin the realization of the world the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. had so eloquently described in his famous “I Have A Dream” speech during the March on Washington nearly a year earlier.
